Do you have what it takes to become fighting-fit?

Picture the scene, you step into the cage with the gate locking behind you into a guaranted win, you glance across the octagon at your opponent for the first time, you try him up for size, you have the height the width and the skill, you know you have the strength and the power you're a machine.

The horn blows, you move in, your opponent comes straight in with a punching combo, you're clever, you duck below and sphere him to the ground, you're on top, you manage to get within his guard and dig your heels in hard to start throughing in some ground and pound, you know you have the power for that knockout punch and you know you have the strength to keep him where he is.
Before you know it he grabs your head and pulls you down into the clinch, you under estimated the strength your opponent has, you lay digs into his ribs but not even a gasp of air, you start to feel hot, the sweat is forming on your forehead and your arms are starting to sore, you start finding it hard to breath and your heart feels like it's going 100mph, you give one big left hook to the side of your opponents head and he releases only for you to sit up and see that he hasn't even broke a sweat, you try throwing down some hard punches but with each punch you find it harder to breath and to eventually your arms can't take much more.
Your opponent see's that your struggleing and manages to snake his way out from underneath you, he quickly scrambles to his feet, you take in a deep breath and manage to bring yourself to your feet,
you skwint as the sweat from your forehead is stinging your eyes, you say to yourself, "whats happened this was an easy win", before you know it you are snapped back into reality as your opponant lays a swinging round house kick to your temple, all you remember is the taste of sweat the smell of blood and the sound of the horn.
